Super Seedie Slouchie

You will need about 180 yards of Worsted weight yarn and a size 8, 16-inch circular needle and size 8 DPNs (or a longer size 8 circular needle) for the decrease section.

PATTERN

Cast on 80sts

*k1, p1* ribbing until the end

Continue the ribbing for ten rows, or until the ribbing is 1- 1 1/2 inches.

Increase rows:

*k1, pfb*, rep until end. You will have increased to 120sts.

Main body:

Row 1: *k1, p1*; rep until end

Row 2: *p1, k1*; rep until end

(The main idea of the seed stitch is that on alternate rows you k the p sts, and p the k sts).

Repeat those two rows until you have reached a length you are satisfied with (I worked mine for about six inches).

Decrease section:

Row 1: *k or p10, p2tog*; rep until end

Row 2: k the p sts, p the k sts

Row 3: *k or p9, p2tog*; rep until end

Row 4: k the p sts, p the k sts

Row 5: *k or p8, p2tog*; rep until end

Row 6: k the p sts, p the k sts

Row 7: *k or p7, p2tog*; rep until end

Row 8: *k or p6, p2tog*; rep until end

Row 9: *k or p5, p2tog*; rep until end

Row 10: *k or p4, p2tog*; rep until end

Row 11: *k or p3, p2tog*; rep until end

Row 12: *k or p2, p2tog*; rep until end

Row 13: *k or p1, p2tog*; rep until end

Row 11: *p2tog*; rep until end

Weave in the ends with a darning needle and tighten together.

I attached a pom-pom for extra flare. Below is a video tutorial I made to show you how I made mine.
