Yarn Shipment: Plymouth Baby Alpaca Lace

I can't talk much about what this yarn is going to be used for, but I received this as support for an upcoming design to be released in a mass-produced knitting publication! It's been a while since I've worked with 100% baby alpaca yarn (!) and the first time I'll be working with lace-weight yarn (or at else, the first time I'll be successfully working with it). I read that the younger the animal, the softer the yarn is, hence why it's so valuable, and I believe it! This yarn is incredibly soft to the touch and doesn't feel itchy at all.
